Ms. Eckman is a member of the American Arbitration Association Roster of Neutrals for construction and commercial cases, and a member of the Large, Complex Construction Case Panel. She also is on the roster of neutrals of the New York Supreme Court, New York County, Commercial Division, as well as the FINRA panel of neutral public arbitrators. She is a member of the Southern California Mediation Association.
She is a member of the American Bar Association Forum Committee on the Construction Industry, Division 1 (Dispute Avoidance and Resolution), the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution: ADR Practice Management, Business and Skills Development, Arbitration and Women in Dispute Resolution Committees, as well as a member of the New York State Bar Association, Dispute Resolution and Real Property sections, the New York City Bar Association Construction Law Committee, and the National Association of Women Lawyers. She is also a member of the New York County Lawyers’ Association, Construction Law and ADR committees.
Ms. Eckman has valuable expertise in all types of dispute resolution, including: arbitration, mediation and early neutral evaluation. Her background as both a businessperson and a lawyer allows her to understand different perspectives, to analyze complex situations, and to maintain a high regard for cost containment and efficiency.
